Evonik Customer Day with HOYU in Taiwan
On July 29th, Evonik organized a Customer Day at the Headquarters of HOYU Textile Co. Ltd.* in Taiwan, in order to discuss the opportunities of further cooperation between the two companies and to reinforce a strong partnership on a working level.
To officially start the event, Mr. Ching-Ming Jwo, President of HOYU, and Thomas Zechel, President of Evonik Taiwan, exchanged gifts and introduced the companies respectively. Warm welcome and appreciation were expressed to all the Evonik employees by Mr. Jwo, while “we look forward to further cooperation and strong partnership between the two companies” said Mr. Zechel.
Evonik colleagues from Taiwan and Shanghai held presentations and explained cooperation possibilities to a group of HOYU officials and engineers who showed huge interest. Participants also had the chance to exchange business information and thoughts on the demo kits showed at the booths.
The final event was a guided tour around the HOYU factory, which was greatly enjoyed by Evonik employees who were able to see how HOYU textiles are prepared on a large scale. This also gave HOYU the opportunity to explain their requirements for future development of textile coatings and where Evonik may be able to cooperate in this area.
